Here at the Historic Cogdell House in Granbury, Texas, we are delighted to offer fascinating tours followed by fresh-baked Irish Scones and hot tea or coffee.

Our ladies' group really enjoyed touring this beautiful, historic mansion - it was so much more than we expected! And Theresa is a charming hostess, we loved listening to her beautiful Irish accent!

The Cogdell house on Thorp Spring Road is a magnificent 6,500 square-foot Craftsman-style house, built in 1905. The elegant mansion has been lovingly preserved and is in excellent condition. When this house was built, it was considered ultra-modern. It even had central heating throughout!

This lovely old home is full of wonderful antiques, many of which are original to the home. There is an old Victrola which was bought by the original Cogdel family in 1923. It still has all of its records, and it is still in working condition.
